Tiger Street Football Singapore is set to thrill local football fans with a showcase of the best street football action from local and international teams.
Presented by internationally acclaimed Tiger Beer and organized in partnership with FOX International Channels and SPORTFIVE Asia, the highly anticipated tournament aims to elevate the level of play and passion for football on the streets of Singapore. This year, the tournament will see legendary Italian superstar Fabio Cannavaro coming onboard as the official Tournament Ambassador. Cannavaro led Italy to its first World Cup in 24 years and won the prestigious FIFA wold player of the year and Ballon d Or in 2006.
They will be hosting this year tournament at Marina Bay Sands against the backdrop of amazing Singapore city skyline. The tournament in Singapore will feature 32 local teams battling it out in the National Finals on Friday, 18 October, for cash prizes of USD3,000 and USD1,500 awarded to the first and second placed teams respectively. The champion of Fridays competition will automatically qualify for the Grand Finals in Ho Chi Minh City,Vietnam on 9 November.
